RE: Connecting the Dots: Sutton and Democracy NC Exposed

Illegally influencing Forsyth County elections are  national left leaning groups including ACORN, AmeriCorps, and La Raza.  They are hiding in plain sight behind local “social change” groups masquerading as 501(c)3 non-profit non-partisan organizations.  Last Sunday’s “All Souls to the Polls” event was organized by the Forsyth County Democratic Party, and two of these groups,  liberal left leaning Democracy North Carolina’s Winston Salem Voting Right’s Coalition, and the Congregation Based Community Organization (CBCO) known as Communities Helping All Neighbors Gain Empowerment (CHANGE).

The “All Souls to the Polls” event began October 29, 2006 when 250 CHANGE leaders marched to the Board of Elections during the primary.  Since then, the Winston Salem Voting Right’s Coalition has been instrumental in promoting this event and registering thousands of voters.  On October 14, 2010 president of Democracy NC’s Winston Salem Voting Right’s Coalition, Linda Sutton, partnered with publicly funded Winston Salem State University in over 6,000 emails promoting democratic candidates.

The depth and breadth of national radical progressive agendas in Forsyth County is evident upon a quick glance at the staff of Democracy NC.

  • head organizer  for ACORN (ACORN received funding from AmeriCorps )

AmeriCorps and their Ally Program (“The Public Allies” signature program)is a radical progressive “social change” youth leadership organization directly associated with recent congressional legislation such as the HR 2857 Generations Invigorating Volunteerism and Education (GIVE Act) and HR 1388 which could force a mandatory service requirement on all young able bodied Americans. President of AmeriCorps, Paul Schmitz, co-chaired the Obama campaign’s civic engagement policy group and was a member of the Obama-Biden transition team.  AmeriCorps has many funding sources easily recognizable to Forsyth County residents. Two examples are the Fannie Mae Foundation and Mary Reynolds Babcock Foundation (also a partner with CHANGE). AmeriCorps has spread their tentacles through out the United States through partnerships with universities and non-profits with their same social change agenda. See map. Conservative hopeful, Michelle Bachmann, has referred to AmeriCorps programs as “re-education camps.”

Though Democracy NC is registered under 501(c)3 non-profit, non-partisan status, they are exactly the opposite.  They are actively partisan, in violation of IRS regulations, and have infiltrated our school systems and local government with a socialist leftist agenda that is a danger to Forsyth county.  They target our most vulnerable children, with Alinskian tactics meant to exploit, re-educate, and enslave.
Our Forsyth County school board is their main focus this election season.  Help us stop them.  Vote for those school board candidates who will stand against them.  Vote Clark, Metcalf, Lambeth, Tackaberry, Collins, Parker, and Goins
