Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; A MESSAGE OF HOPE FOR THE TIRED FROM FIGHTING CHRISTIAN PATRIOT

(Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; 2 Cor. 4:9)
By Sandra Robles

This has been a stressful week for us Christians as we walk by faith, not sight, in an evil and corrupt world. It is hard to ignore the information overload of the temporal assaults on our God given and ordained rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

In Romans 8:28, the Bible says “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”

My question for all of us. Do we truly believe this verse? Could this be the only verse in the Bible that is perhaps false or do we as Christians get so caught up in the temporal that we need reminded of the eternal?

Today is simple. Let us all be reminded that we can believe in the perfect character of Christ Jesus. Let us be reminded we can believe in the perfect Word of God. Let us be reminded that temporal means nothing in the light of eternal life through Christ Jesus. Let us be reminded that, by faith and not sight, we believe and know that all things (ALL by definition would include even the “bad things” like Congress, YoBama, Health care/cap and trade bills, the Swine flu, joblessness, moral decay, abortion, false churches, etc.)…YES…we can believe “and we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”

Period. Either one believes God’s Word or one does not. Join me in being reminded that I believe God’s Word to be Truth…every last dotted “i” and crossed “t.”
